Privacy Policy Apparens
Privacy & Data Integrity
Last updated: February 2026
At Apparens, we break strategies to make them stronger. We treat your data with the same adversarial rigour. We don’t "harvest" information; we collect only what is necessary to determine if we can help you.
1. The Essentials (Who we are)
Apparens is a Dutch-registered entity (KvK: 74048295). This policy covers our digital footprint at www.apparens.nl. If you have questions, reach out directly to our founder, Jeroen Janssen, at office@apparens.nl.
2. What we collect (and why)
We aren't interested in building a mass marketing list. We collect data solely to facilitate high-level professional engagement.
-
Inquiry Data: When you fill out a form or request a Strategic Stress Test, we ask for your name, email, role, and organization. This helps us tailor our diagnostic response.
-
Technical Data: Our host, Wix, logs standard technical data (like your IP address) to ensure the site actually works and to give us basic, anonymized analytics on how people use the site.
We process this under Legitimate Interest (answering your questions) and Consent (when you hit 'submit').
3. How we guard your data
Your information is not an asset we trade.
-
No Sales/Rentals: We never sell or rent your data. Period.
-
Limited Access: Access is restricted to the founder. No junior staff or third-party marketers have access to your submissions.
-
Infrastructure: We use Wix to host our site. They act as our "Data Processor" and maintain their own high-security standards.
4. Retention: We don't linger
We keep your contact details only as long as they are useful.
-
If we don’t move into a formal engagement, we delete your data within 12 months of our last conversation.
-
If we do work together, data retention is governed by our specific client agreement.
5. Cookies: Minimalist by design
We avoid the "tracking bloat" found on most sites.
-
Essential Only: We use cookies for site functionality.
-
No Ads: We do not use third-party advertising or "retargeting" trackers. If we ever add non-essential analytics, we will ask you first.
6. Your Rights (The GDPR Clause)
You are in control. At any point, you can email us to:
-
See exactly what data we have on you.
-
Correct an error or delete your info entirely.
-
Object to how we are using it.
We will respond to any request within 30 days.
7. Concerns
If you feel we haven't handled your data correctly, please tell us. You also have the right to contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
